Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said William
Fabian< no role >
for himself saith that at different times since the
beginning of November last he had Stolen out of his
Shop Quantities of Lace, and particularly a Quantity
now produced by said John Cates< no role >
and the said John Cates< no role >
for himself saith that on Saturday last a Person now
present who callshimselfherself Eleanor Evans< no role >
offered to
him this Informant to Pledge five Remnants of white
Lace now produced and Sworn to by said Wm. Fabian< no role >
, which
he suspecting to be dishonestly come by stopt, that the same
day Mary Chapman< no role >
now present came to his Shop and claimed
said Lace as her property and Said She bought it at the
three Pidgeons
in Fleet Street
