And said he and his Wife frequently passed them, I had a Six pence
which he got from me under pretence that he Could make it to
Pass for half, a Guinea, by getting some Leap Gold from the other
end of the Town, but he never Returned it again John Curtis< no role >
wanted Money and threatned me he would tell of Old Jacks having
the things as I had not given him any Money Reced for our
Dealings Unless I would get some Money out of the Till which
I did the first opportunity and took 6s/6 and went into the
Cellar and we Shared it

After going from Mr. Wilkinson's saw John Curtis< no role > at the Door
whome told me Eliz: Stanmore had told him that I had gone
partners with her where I was there, and that he did then &
had in the Cellar 5s/3 and had lost Twenty one Shillings
a Box, two pair of Chi [..] Buttons, and a pair of Buckells
which he Supposed Stanmore had taken away

A Miller that had worked for Mr: Watford said he was out of
work and had been used to Sell Liquors and if I could let him
have Any he would sell it for me he often Came to me and at
Last Perswaded me and John Curtis< no role > and we Let him have
two Bottles of Brandy and one Rum and he put them into a
Jack he brot: with him for that purpose with Straw in it in
the Tap Rooms and halt a pound of Tea which Eliz. Stanmore< no role >
had given me for my Washerwoman and my Mistress missed
Next Markett dy he came and brot: two Shillings which John
Curtis and I shared, the Tea he said was not Good so gave not
any thing for it He Cann afterward when we had not
opportunity to get any Liquor, But Friday following at night
John Curtis< no role > and I Drew two Bottles Rum I Bottle Brandy and
one of Hollands Ginn which Saturday night following he took
away as before and told him I would not get any more for
was afraid should be detailed and desired him to give me
the Money then on which he gave in four Shillings which
John Curtis< no role > and I Shared
