Witness on behalf of the said Prosecutrix in this Prosecution and on<lb></lb>
whose Evidence chiefly the Bill of Indictment was found against<lb></lb>
the said Defendant in the above Prosecution (as this Deponant<lb></lb>
hath been credibly informed and verily believes She the said<lb></lb>

and his a Shorcuts) wilfully to abscond and go out of the way<obscured></obscured>

lyand on purpose to give the said Defendant are opportunity of<lb></lb>
Escaping from this Prosecution, for want of having the benefit of<lb></lb>
her Evidence and Testimony (as She the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSLPS15074_n414-4">Elizabeth Thompson</rs>

himself informed her this Deponent on the very day She so<lb></lb>
absconded and which She this Deponant verily believes to<obscured></obscured>

true) And this Deponant further Saith That the said Defendant<lb></lb>
hath been formerly Convicted of a Capital Offence in this Honourable Court<lb></lb>
and afterwards obtained his late Majesty's next gracious Pardose, upon Constable<lb></lb>
of his being Transported per for fourteen Years; which accordingly he was and<lb></lb>
returned back again from thence before the expiration of his Time (as many<lb></lb>
of this Deponants' particular acquaintance can hearby make appear, and<lb></lb>
as She this Deponents' herself verily believes to be true) And this Deponant<lb></lb>
further Saith That he the said Defendant in the Year One thousands fur<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
hundred and fifty eight in this Honourable Court Convicted two of his<lb></lb>
Accomplices of Felony; and does now belong to a so soon cause & now raise<lb></lb>
gang of Thieves and Robbers (as this Deponent hath been informed<lb></lb>
verily believes) who now supply him with the means to pursue and<lb></lb>
methods of defeating all Crimmiland Capital Prosecution that<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
he carried on or commenceal against him; and by the strength of<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
hath now sought the means of childing that Justice Law to his Crimes and<lb></lb>
of<obscured></obscured>
upon this Honourable Court to screen himself from Justice<lb></lb>
And Lastly She this Deponent Saith That She is sum that if this<lb></lb>
Honourable Court shou'd be pleasant to put off the said Defendants Fryal<lb></lb>
