Deponent then believed to go the Bed, but presently<lb></lb>
afterwards came down again, and went into the<lb></lb>
little Room behind the Shop where the deceased then<lb></lb>
was; that the sd. Greenstreet asked the deceased if<lb></lb>
any person had been thereto enquire after him, to<lb></lb>
which the deced made answer there had not nor<lb></lb>
did the deced want any body to came after him:<lb></lb>
that the sd. Greenstreet then asked the deceased to<lb></lb>
pay him fifty shillings that ward due to him for five<lb></lb>

which the deced refused to pay him<lb></lb>
telling him he would pay him no money till<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

Quartor was due, on which sd. Green abused<lb></lb>
the deced very much by calling him Rogue & giving<lb></lb>
him other opprobious Language that the deced find<lb></lb>

saying he would not till he was paid his money; that<lb></lb>
the deced being in his Chair, rise from it, & endeavoured<lb></lb>
to put him out; and on Greenstreet not moving<lb></lb>
the deced street GreenStreet two Blows in his Face<lb></lb>
but Dept. cannot tell whether the Blows either of<lb></lb>
then were given by the Fist or the open had, but the sd.<lb></lb>
GreenStreet did not appear to be much hurt<obscured></obscured>
did this<lb></lb>
Dept. see any Blood if us from Greenstreet: that sd.<lb></lb>
Greenstreet thereupon touch the deced two or three<lb></lb>
times in the face with his Fist. & showed the deced down<lb></lb>
& after he was down struch him again there or four Blows</p>
