Esquire Lord Mayor of the City of London and
the rest of the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices
of the Peace of the said City at the General
Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition & Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Giles without
Cripplegate London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order Or Pass Warrant
Under the hands and Seals of the Right Honourable
Slingsby Bethell< no role > Esquire Lord Mayor of the City of
London and Thomas Rawlinson< no role > Esquire two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said City of
London and the Liberties thereof (One being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the Sixteenth day of July
last past A Child Named Arthur Baynes< no role > aged
about Five years was Removed from the Parish
of Saint Botolph Aldgate London To the said Parish
of Saint Giles without Cripplegate London as the place
of his last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners Conceive themselves
aggrieved by the said Order or Warrant and humbly
appeal against the same

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray That
they may be relieved against the said Order
Or Warrant in Such manner as to this
Honourable Court shall seem meet
