WHEREAS Walter Gowen< no role > was

apprehended in the Parish of Saint Mary Woolchurch
as a Rogue and Vagabond wandring and begging

and upon Examination of the said Walter Gowen< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, (which Examination is hereunto
annexed) it doth appear, that the last legal Settlement of the said
Walter Gowen< no role > is in the Said parish of
Saint Philip and Jacob

These are therefore to require You the said Constable
to convey the said Walter Gowen< no role >

to the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex
that being the first parish in the next Precinct, thro' which
he- ought to pass, in the direct way to the said parish
of St. Philip and Jacob to which he is to be sent, and
to deliver him to the Constable or other Officer, or such first
parish in such next Precinct, together with this Pass and Dupli-
cate of the Examination of the said Walter Gowen< no role >
taking his Receipt for the same. And the said Walter Gowen< no role > is
to be thence conveyed
on in like Manner to the said Parish of St Philip & Jacob
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or
Overseer of the Poor , there to be provided for according to Law.
And you the said Church-warden, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor, are hereby required to receive the said Walter Gowen< no role >
and provide for him
as aforesaid. Given under my Hand and Seal this 3d
Day of April in the Year of our Lord 17 52 .
