His Majesties Justices of the Peace
for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Botolph Bishopsgate

Aged one year and upwards are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the said John Alger that the place of their last Legal
Settlement is in the said Parish of Saint Peter Poor
Where
he the said John Alger lived a Yearly hired Servant
for the
Space of three Years and upwards with one

And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said John Alger Joannah his Wife

to be in the said Parish of Saint Peter Poor in the said City
of London
And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent.
These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate

forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
John Alger Joannah his wife and Elizabeth William
and Manny their said three Children
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
Saint Peter Poor
And themdeliver unto the Churchwardesn and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this Ninthday of January
one Thousand Seven hundred and fifty
