Humble Petition to this Court setting forth that by Indenture bearing Date
the fourth Day of August 1749 he was bound apprentice to Robert Finch< no role >
of the Parish of St. Ann Blackfriers

to learn his
said Art and business and to serve his said Master in the manner of
an Apprentice
for seven years And that his said Master in Consideracon
of 12 Gunieas was to teach and instruct him in the same Art & Business
and to find & provide for him all Necessarys (apparel and washing Excepted
And by the said petition Complaining (among other Things) that his said
Master thro' negligence & following his pleasures hath totally
loss his business and is thereby disabled from providing Necessarys
for the said Petitioner so that, had he not recourse to his Parents
he must have been in great want and that his said Master
having deserted his late Habitation and not regarding him, or
Instructing him in the said Business, the petitioner hath no possibility
of learning the said Business or of being properly taken Care of as an
Apprentice
And thereby praying this Court to take the premisses
into Consideration and order the petitioner to be discharged or turned
over to another Master and that his said Master may return the
