Deposicons touching the Death of Thos. Williams< no role >
Killd by his Wifein Plough Yard in
the Parish of St: Andrews Holborn in the Ward of Farringdon
without London

Ann Powell< no role > Wife of George Powell< no role > of Plough Yard Labourer
Maketh Oath & Saith that on Tuesday Afternoon abt. 3 & 4 o Clock
the 28th: Inst: as she this Depont came home from Work a Woman
who Named one Ann Williams< no role > & herChild she asked this
Depont. to come up stairs for there would be Murder And
Accordingly this Deponts. did go up stairs & there found the
Deced Thos. Williams< no role > on his Back on the Ground with
the sd Ann Williams< no role > on her Knees by his strokeing of
his face & sd. my Dear toming is Dead my Dear Tomy
is Dead & further says that she this Depont layd hold
ofthehis Right hand & found that he was Dead, Says
that she saw a Knife in the first Room all Bloody on the
Bench where the Deced need to work and took up the sd.
Knife & sd. this is the Knife that Killed the Dead
