At the General Quarter Session of the peace hold on for the
City of London at the Guildhall within the said City on Monday
the second day of April 1744 in the seventeenth year of the
Reign of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain Etc Before Sir Robert Westley< no role > Knight Mayor of the
City of London Sir Simon Urlin< no role > Knight Recorder of the said
City Sir George Champion< no role > Knight George Arnold< no role > Esquire
Aldermen of the said City and others their Fellows Justices
Assigned to keep the peace of our said Lord the King within
the said City and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds Committed
within the said City.

Whereas Sarah Dilla Barnadera< no role > Wife of John Dilla Barnadera< no role >
who is gone from her and their two Children Richard< no role > Aged Nine Years
and Michael < no role > Aged four Year's By Vertue of an Order or pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesties Justices of the
peace for the City of London (one being of the Quorum) bearing date
the twenty fourth day of February 1743 were sent and delivered by
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint
Botolph Aldgate unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor
of the parish of St: Botolph Bishopsgate London Upon the Oath of the
said Sarah Dilla Barnadera other Circumstances that the last legal
Settlement of her said Husband is in the parish of Sr: Botolph
Bishopsgate London Now Upon hearing the petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of
St: Botolph Bishopsgate in the presence and hearing of the Overseers of
the poor of the said parish of St: Botolph Aldgate and the Council Itt is
hereby Ordered by this Court that the Appeal be Allowed and the Order
Quashed as to the said [..] and Michael the two Children and the
same is by this Court allowed accordingly And it is hereby further
Ordered by this Court that the said Warrant and Judgment of the said
two Justices be and the same is hereby Confirmed as to the said Sarah
Dilla Barnadera the Wife And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of Sr: Botolph Aldgate do Maintain and provide
for the said two Children Richard and Michael until they can free
themselves by due Course of Law And it is further Order'd by this
Court that the said Sarah Dilla Barnadera the Wife be provided for and
Maintained by the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate until they can free themselves from the
Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
