The humble Petition and Appeale of Aron Hendricks< no role >
Sheweth
That your Petitioner on the 18th. Day of March last being charged by
Information of
Thomas Wincopp< no role >
for setting and disposing unto him the said
Thomas Wincopp< no role >
and Lottery Ticket in a certain foreign Lottery called or known by the Name of the Hague Lottery
contrary to a Statute in that Behalf made in the ninth Year of the Reign of his late Majesty
King George
That upon hearing the said Information before Francis Child< no role >

. Lord Mayor of the
City of London
and Sr: William Billers< no role >
Knt
: and Alderman of the said City two of his Majestie's
Justices of the Peace
and for the said City of London
and the Liberties thereof your Petitioner
was found quilty of the said Offence and was adjudged by the said Justices to forfeit the Sum of
two hundred Pounds one Third of which to be paid to the Use of his present Majesty one of them
Third to be paid to the said Thomas Wincopp< no role >
and the remaining Third to the Churchwardens and
Overseers
of St: Michael Cornhill
for the Use of the Poor of the said Parish And was also
adjudged to be commited to the Goal of Newgate thereto remain wihtout Bail or Mainprize
for the Space of one whole year and from thence till the said Sum shall be fully paid
Your Petitioner finding himself aggried by ye Judgemt. &
Conviction of the said Justices according to the Provision in
the said Act mentioned doth humbly appeal to this Court
against the Same and prays that this Court will appoint a
Day for the said Thomas Wincopp< no role >
and all other Persons
concerned to hear and abide the Judgement and Determination
of this Court touching the said Appeal.
