The Humble Petition and Appeal of
John Taylor< no role > of the Tower of London

Sheweth

That by a Judgment of Outer under the hands of
Sr: Francis Forbes< no role > Knt and Ld: Mayr. of the City of London
and Sr: Gerard Conyers< no role > Knt : two of his Maties Justices
of the peace for the said City (Quorum Unus) bearing
date the Twenty Sixth day of April last your Petitioner
is Adjudged the Reputed Father of a Male Bastard Child
born in the Parish of St Leonard Eastcheap me the sd City
on or about the 4th: of April last begotten on the body of Eliz: Cox< no role >
Singlewoman That your Petitioner think, himself
agrieved by the said Judgment and Order Humbly Appeals against the same

And Prays this Court would be pleased
to order the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of St Leonard Eastcheap
and all other parties concerned to attend this
Court to hear and abide the Judgment of the
same touching the said Appeal

And your Petitionr
shall ever pray
