This Exaiant saith That on Saturday night last he
was in company with John Mealin< no role > at the Rose June
in Smithfeild togeher with Thomas Willgus< no role >
Chamblein of the said June who being then a sleep
with a silver Watch in his pocket the said Mealin
pointed to the Chain of the said Watch which then
hung out & advised this exaiant to steal the same
which he accordingly did & carried the same to
pawn at a Brokers in Houndsditch in company
with the said Mealin who stood at a distance when
this Exaiant took upon it forty shillings & gave
the said Mealin twenty shillings being the Moiety
thereof & the said Mealin was present and
contiquens to the said Exaiant when he stole
the same & saw him so doe & Knew the twenty
shillings he afterwards reced to be the Moiety of
the Money for which the said Watch so stolen
as aforesaid was or had been pawned.
