their Daughter aged about Eighteen years are<lb></lb>
lately to me into<lb></lb>
your said Parish not having obtained any<lb></lb>
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-<lb></lb>
able thereto by reason of their Poverty<lb></lb>
unless timely prevented,<lb></lb>
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch<lb></lb>
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Mary Stokes<lb></lb>
the Mother that about Nineteen years ago the Said<lb></lb>
John Stokes her husband was a yearly hired Servant<lb></lb>
with one Mrs. Verey in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSLPS15034_geo265">Essex Street</rs>

by the Space of one whele<lb></lb>
Year and upwards he being then a Single man and did<lb></lb>
not obtain any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-<lb></lb>
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last<lb></lb>
legal Settlement of the said Mary Stokes and Mary her<lb></lb>
said Daughter to be in the said Parish<lb></lb>
of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex and <lb></lb>
that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.</p>
<p n="579">THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-<lb></lb>
quire You to remove and convey the said Mary Stokes<lb></lb>
and her Said Daughter Mary<lb></lb>
from and out of your said Parish of St. Botolop without<lb></lb>
Aldgate- London, to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes in<lb></lb>
Middx aforesaid and them leave with the Churchwardens &<lb></lb>
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and<lb></lb>
are hereby required to receive and provide for them<lb></lb>
according to Law. Hereof sail not, and this shall be your<lb></lb>
Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals the <rs type="date" id="LMSLPS15034_date119">Third<lb></lb>
Day of January Anno Domini 17 22</rs>
