The Information of Stephen Gardner< no role > taken on his oath
before me one of his Maties Justices of the peace for the
city of London

This Examinant on his oath saith that on saturday lastabout
being the 27th Day of this Instant April between the hours of one &
two in the morning he this Informant together, with Jeremiah
Garraway
< no role > This name instance is in set 2859. and Thomas Sly< no role > came to the house of Robert Hoe< no role > in
Sothbury London Scalemaker and with intent to rob this house
of the said Mr. Hoe, but about one of the Clock in the morning the
watchman being too near they could not at that time accomplish
their design, but walking away for about half an hour, and then
they returned and the watchman being gone, the said Thomas
sly pulled out the belt or pinn of the Coller Widow and this
Informant took out the Garr and opened the Window, and then
the said Jeremiah Garway went into the said Window, which this
Informant and the said Thomas Sly sutt after him and waiter
at a little Distance till the said Jeremiah Garraway should come
out again, which he according by Did in about half an hour and
brought with him a silver Tankard, a salver, two Salt Collars and
a Silver Spoon, and thereupon they all three went with the sd Goods
to the Lodging of one Ann Gill< no role > in Berwich Street in St. James near
the Hay market (whom they had before told of their intention to
rob the said Mr. Hoe) and deliverd all the said Goods to her in
order to sett for them, but since they never saw her nor ever
had any of their money for the said Goods
