This Examinant Confesseth & saith yt abt ye
latter end of March last past he being a
Lettr Carrier to ye Genll Pest office in London, had
a Certain Letter to deliver which was directed to

Bennett of Swallon street near St James
which Lettr he opned, & their is was a Bill of
four Pounds Seven Shild drawn an Robt Cook
While sd Bill he took out of ye Letter &
demanded paiement of it of ye sd Robt Cook< no role >
who accadingly paid him for it four pounds
