Complaint this day made unto us two of His Maties Justices of the
Peafe for this Citie and the Libties thereof (quor unns) by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the parish of St. Peter
the Poore London That one Martha Broughton< no role > a Girle of about
thirteen yeares and an half of age is lately come into your said
Parish and is likely to become chargeable thereto unless timely
prevented And for asmuch as it appeares unto us by the oath of
William Woodstock That the said Martha was bound an Apprentice
about one yeare and an halfe agoe to one Mr. Sarah Simpson< no role > Widow
then living in the parish of St. Margaret in Newfishstreet London
for a terme as yet me & pired and had noe other settlemt. since We doe
therefore adjudge the last legall settlemt. of the said Martha
Broughton
< no role > to be in the said Parish of St. Margaret in Newfish Strt.
London and that thitherto she ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Maties. name to require You the Churchwardns.
& Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St. Peter the Poore London forthwth.
to remove any convey the said Martha Broughton< no role > from & out of your said
Parish to the said Parish of St. Margaret in Newfish Strt. London & her
leave with the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poore there or one of
them who are hereby required to receive & pvide for her according to Law
Hereof faile not And this shall be your Warrt. Given under our hands &
seales the twenty sixth day of January 1714.
