The Examination and Information of Ruth
Nott lieing in the Parish of St. Austins
in the City of London Spinster aged
about twenty Years taken on fath
before me & Sr . Charles Poors< no role > & a Aldermean
and one of her Mejties. Justices of the Peace
for the City aforesaid

This Informant Saith That on Monday the
one and Recutable [..] of this August about then
of the clerk at night as She was going in the
Strat in the Poultry , She was assassted by one
James Ebbison< no role > and another person unknown
where and Pulling her into the shop of one
Richard Law< no role > dessed an Appothecary in the
Poultry and Shilling the Street dope upon her
did drive her intto acback room and flinging
her down on a bed did then and there a assault
her in a violent mannor and against her will &
consent [..] the said person unknown
did felloniously ravith the body by having carnall
knowledg thereof and that the said James Cooke< no role >
had also imediatly after the said person unknown
likewise against her will and convent [..]
also carnall knowledg of her body
and that the said James Robbinson< no role > did aid and
assist the said person unknown and the said
James Cooke< no role > in the said assault and ravishmt.
so felloniously comitted as aforesaid and
furthur She saith not:

Jurat hee. 30s. die
