The Examination of Ann Aires< no role >

Who Saith the lodge that the howse of Mr.White in CastleStreet by the 7
Dyealls in the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields & followes the Imployement
of a Gloversement [..] she came into London to Mr Clerke for Gloves to
wash who she saids Lodges at the [..] Wheat [..] he after on Ludgate hill
a Laceshopp without the gate, that She went to Buy a Mopp at the
house of Michael Mercer< no role > in Pudle Dock hill at the desire of a Woman
She mett in the street who as she saids she did not know nor did not
see time that she left the Mopp at an Alehouse in the Old Bayly
knowne by the signed of the Lyom & Ball , that after she had given a
[..] halfe Crowne to Mr Mercer & received from [..] her two Shillings
in charge she prtended the Mopp to lets declare at 6d. & demanded
to have more Morry or to returne the Mopp & the two shillings, and to
have her halfe Crowne againe, & One of the two shillings was a
Counterfeit, Shilling which she saids she knowes nothing of.
