Oath That Abraham Cardozo< no role > This name instance is in set 3559. , complaining to him
some time abt. May or June last that hee had been
robbed of some Plate Linnen and other goods of value
upon which this Depont. made his applicacon to one Robt.
Taker< no role > a prtended Theif Taker liveing in the old Bayley
to desire him to help the sd Abraham Cardozo to his goods againe
& yt. the sd Taker [..] had a Crowne for prsent charges, and
about a week or a fortnight after, the sd. Saker came to this
Depont. at the Rainbowe Coffee house in Cornhill , & acquainted
this Depont. that the sd. Godds might be had againe for Five
or Six Guineas or thereabouts, and that he this Depont. did
thereupon give the said Robt. Taker< no role > (in the prsence of one Anthony
Dunn< no role > ) Five Guineas, and that the same day the greatest part of
the said Goods were left bundled upp at the While hear Alehouse
in St. Mary Acts according to the Agreemt. betweene this Depont.
& the said Taker and Dunn, but this Depont. doth now knew
who were the persons that actually Comitted the sd. Felony:
