She saith that Matha Pope< no role > came to her House and calld. her
out of Berd in the morning, to goe with her to the three Tunns at
he bourn budg & She would Satisfie her, when She came there, saith
that in a roome by the fire Satt, Jasper Howard< no role > , Mary Low< no role >
& Elizb Wells< no role > , that Mary Low< no role > , Said She owed Jasper Howard< no role >
money and desired this informant, to wright a note, for Her, to give
the sd Honor, for the money she owed him, payable Wrehly
at She asking Low howmuch She Shall [..] ate the note for
She said for tenn pounds,but Howard replyed & Say'd he
would have it for the Whole money which was thirteen pounds
odd moneyAnd Mary Low< no role > , said She tooke the money from the
Said Howard & gave it sd all Pope, which Patt Pope did own
to be true,youShe Askt whole they had the money & they
both said at Sum everShe saithfrom the said Jasper Howard< no role >
in the mean time. Sumers and Tunn came into the roome
& ask what they were doeing Patt Pope Said they were
makeing on end with, the man, meaing Jasper Howard< no role > ,
Sumers Said that he was an old Renge, & that they Should
all goe to the Gole together, then Patt Pope whent with
Sumers & Dunn, into another Roome, when they were
gon in to the other Room, she saith mary Low< no role > took of her
Patton and Said She would knock out Jayer Howard Brains
Patt Pope comeing in again to them, from Sumers & Dunn
Said that She had made them easey, and that She was to
give them fifty Shillings part of the money that was taken
from Jasper Howard< no role > , as soon asJaPatt Pope came to
them againe Howard whent out of the Roome, & said
& tolld the master of the house & he sent for a Constable
and more saith not
