The Presentmt. of the Grand Jury for the Citty of London at the Sessions of Oyer and Terminer and
Goale delivers of Newgate held for the Citty of London and County of Middx . att Justice hall in the Old Bayly
9 a Wednesday the 29th. day of August Anno Dm 1705 . and in the fourth yeare of her Maties Reignes

Wee Cann never enough admire the Infinite goodness of Allmightly God in the delivering and hither to wonderfully Prserving thisNation
from the horid Superstition and Tyraing of the See of Room and notwithstanding the open force and Secrett mathinacons of theire emissaries Agent
and adherents. Hath blest as with a Prote, cant Sovereigne a Religious wife and vertuons Queene Zealons to prserve and Support our Religion Church
and State as by Law establish in piety, power Prosperity and peace, Wee cannt. therefore without high Ingratitude to heaven and to her, bur with on
great concerne take notice of the many Popish Factions and Seditions bookes Pampletts papers and Treasonable libells frequently printed published and disperst
abroad under various titles denominacons, immendes cunning Cyphers and disquises; Yett (soe as to be understood) boldly reflecting upon her Maty our Establisht
Church and Civill Constitution. And Wee cannt. but observe that when and att such times as her Matys assayres are most prosperons and Succesfull that
then and cheifely then the enemies of her Maty and of the Peace and wellfare of these Kingdomes, doe the more industriously contrive and disperse such
factions and Seditions libells bookes and papers to traduce our Ministry and distract our Councells. Wee therefore the Grand Jury for the Citty of London
out of a due Sence of our duty to Allmighty God, her Sacred Maty, our Religion, Church and Nation Doe Present all such Trayterons, false
malitions factions and permitions libells bookes and papers centrieceed and designed, to breake our unity, and to weaken our power to defend
her Maty and our Selves and to oppose our enemies. Thereby to make the way the easier for a Popish prtender to possess the Throne. And as
such in pticate. Wee with the utmost Indignacon and resentmt. doe prsent one Bake lately printed by a Notorious Criminall (Convicted in this formerly
Court for printing and publishing a Seditious and Treasonable lebell for which he was fined and Pillored and is now fled from Justice) Intituled The
Memoriall of the Church of England humbly [..] considration of all true lowe as of our Church and Constitucon. to be a
False Scandalous and Trayterous libell Secretly but Indust [..] abroad to adceance and accomplish those Trayterous and wicked designes
highly Impeaching the truth and Sincerity of her Maties [..] Solutions and pious assurances upon all occasions, and soe often from the
Throne Sollemly declared to Support mainteine and prserve [..] mt. both in Church and State as by law establisht the Rights and
priviledges of parliamt. and the liberties and properties of all the people and alseo craftily designed to reproach and Scandalize her wife and
faithfull Ministry divide her Couneells create variances, disputes, and discords in her Parliamt. irritateing and exasperateing the Members
of the Church, and other Sober and legall protestants and to raise and Somenanimosities, feares and Felonios amongst all her people
and [..] to colour such permitions purposes laying a False and Scandalous Imputacon upon the Church of England as it they were the
As the [..] contrivers and promoters of that false Impions Seditions and Trayterous libell Soe directly repugnant to the avoneed principles pions
[..] and [..] Doctrine of the Church, and directly contrary to the duty and Sworne alleagance of all the Sincere and true Members
of it. [..] three [..] our earnest desire and humble request that all dilligent and due endeavours may be used to find out and. discover the true
and reach and hers and contrivers of that puitions booke. To the intent they when knowne and the said Printer and publishers when taken
may be brought to Justice and condign Punishmt.
