Mayor of ye City of London and
One of Her Majestys Justices of ye
peace [..] for the Said City 21st. of
July 1705

Who Saith That about the Nineth at April last One Andrew
Clareholt
< no role > brought to this Informant at his house near
White Chappel [..] a Skein and about Four days
after a Bundle [..] Floretta Yarne to Sell [..]
and told this Informant that he had about Two hundred
weight more of the Same yarm by him, and that he
had it of One Mary Vass whereupon this Informant
hearing that the New East India Companys warehouse
had been broken open and such a like Quantity of the
Same yarm Stolen out of it, presently gave Notice
thereof to Mr William Smalridge< no role > One of the porters
belonging to the said Company, who came and seized
the said Skein and Bundle, and Conveyed them to
Skinners Hall And this Informant Saith that the said
Mary Vass< no role > being accused on Suspicon of Stealing the said
yarn did declare She had ye Same of Robert Coward< no role > and
Sarah< no role > his wife
