Whereas at the Genll. Quarter Sessions of the Peace
held for the Citty of London in January last Thomas
Thorpe< no role > & John Harris< no role > were Severally Indicted for
not appearing to serve on the Inquest at the Wardmote
Court held for the Tower Ward in December last (being
Citizens of the said Citty). And Whereas it appears to
me that the said Thomas Thorpe< no role > & John Harris< no role > Are
Tydesmen in Her Majestyes Service in the Port of
London and are exempt and Priviledgd from Serveing
on the said Inquest under the Seale of the Court of
Excheqr. And the Prosecutors in the said Indictments
have been duly Sumoned (as by Affidavit appears)
to attend me to Shew Cause why proceedings should
not be stayed on the said Indictments and have
not attended These are therefore to Authorise
and require you to Enter a Cessat Process us on each
of the said Indictments and Stay all Proceedings
thereon till further Order And for so dooing
this shall be yor. Warrant Dated this 4th. day of
March Anno Dui 1703 .
