taken this 27th. day of December 1699

This Examinant Saith he hired a Garret of William
Singleton< no role > at one Shilling the Weeke to Lodge therein in
which was one Feather Read one Pillowberr and One
Pillow one paire of Sheetes one Rugg and one Blanket
which He this Examinant did without the knowledge
or consent of the abovenamed William Singleton< no role > take
and carrie away together with One Brasse Sawcepann
one Pewter Plate & one Pewter quart Pott and this
Examinant further Saith that He did Sell the said Bead
and Sawcepann to a Broker in litle Moorefeilder for
three Shillings and that Hee allso Sold the said Pillow
Rugg and Blanket to a Broker in East Smithfeild for
three Shillings Six pence And that He Sold One of the
said Sheetes and the Pillowber to a Broker in Barbiecann
for eighteene pence and the other Sheete He sold to
a Broker need Coventry garden for One shilling And saith
the aforesaid Pewter Plate & Pewter Pett he offered to Sale to a Pewterer
in Hollbourne Who stopt him & Sent Him with a Porter
to thesaidHouse of the said Mr. Singleton
