obteined leave from this Informt. that he might lye in this Informts<lb></lb>
Chambers with his sonne for some small time till he could provide<lb></lb>
himselfe of another Lodging That on the 20th. day of May this<lb></lb>
Informt. designed to goe out of Towne but was prevented and about<lb></lb>
11 of the Clock that Night this Informt. heard his said Clerke come<lb></lb>
in and another person with him and they went into his owne Chamber<lb></lb>
and finding a light in this Informts. Chamber he with the other Pson<lb></lb>
went out again and in a little time the said Branson Junr. returned<lb></lb>
without any body with him And this Informt. is told by <rs type="persName" id="LMSLPS15008_n472-5">John Ashe</rs>

to rejoyce<lb></lb>
That on Saturday the 22th. of May in the Morneing he this Informt.<lb></lb>
came to London and when he came to his Chamber about Seaven of<lb></lb>
the Clock he found the outward dore of his Chamber standing a Jarr<lb></lb>
and goeing in found his owne Lodgeing Chamber dore and his Cabinett<lb></lb>
and Chest of Drawers broake open whereout his money and goods were<lb></lb>
taken, but a Silver hilted Sword and a Silver hilted Stanger which were<lb></lb>
visible in the roome and severall peeces of flowred Linnen and<lb></lb>
other remarkable Linnen and remarkable peeces of money wch.<lb></lb>
Say in the same Cabinett and Chest of Drawers were left behind<lb></lb>
and neither his study doore nor his Clossett in his Lodging Chamber<lb></lb>
were broake open</p>
<p n="473">And this Informt. finding his Chamber robbed as aforesaid he called<lb></lb>
for the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSLPS15008_n473-1">John Branson</rs>
