Lodging nor plase of abode or setlements
but as a vagrant, And whereas it appears
unto us by the oath of
Sarah Vandertall< no role >
her sister that her last setlement was
in the Psh of St Bridget alias St Brides
London where she lodged at the house
of one Pillington in one of the
Alleys leading to Shoe Lane in the Psh
of St Brides
aforesaid London at ye tyme
of King Charles the Second his death being
in the year of our Lord God 1684/5 and that
Jane Meers hath not had any setlement
since as she veryly beleives or knows of
These are therefore in his Maties: name strictly at a
charge & require you or some of you ye Constables
or other his Maties: officers whom these may conserne
to take pass and convey the body of the aforesd
Jane Meers to the aforesaid Psh of St Bridget
alis St Brides
London And there to leave her or
cause her to be left in the Custody of the
Church wardens or overseers of the poor of
the Psh of St Bridges alias St Brides
London
aforesaid, who are hereby required to provide
for the aforesaid Jane Meers According to
Law, And hereof fayle not at yor Pill,
Dated and Given under our hands and
