The Information of Robert Waldrom< no role > of White Chapel
Butcher taken upon Oath this 5th: day of June 1696

Whoe saith that Henry Chawner< no role > now Convicted for High Treason in Counterfitting money bought a
Press to Counterfit the Currant Coyne of this Kingdome of
One Bagley whoe lives in Hounsditch , and [..] paid £25
for makeing the Press, And that the said Chawner and One
Smith als Ray did use the said Mill to Counterfit money
And that the said Bagley did Sell Two Presser to the said
Smith als Ray, aboute a yeare Since, for Thirty or Forty
pounds, and that the said Bagley did gate unto the said
Chawner and Smith Twenty Shillings in Broade money
for Eight & Twenty Shillings of Counterfit money which
was made with the said Mills, And that Thomas Walley< no role > now in
Custody did tell this Informt. Aboute foure Moneths since
that hedidthird William Harey now also in Custody did
[..] make A Hundred pounds a Weeke of Counterfit money
for one Joseph Gregory< no role > a Butcher , And that the said Gregory
did usually pay the same into the Exchequer, And that
Walley did tell this Informt. that if they could make £500
a weeke the said Gregory would take it of them and pay
the same unto the Exchequer And that the said Walley did also
tell this Informt. that he did [..] Change Severall Hundred pounds of Counterfit
money with One Dennis or Brewers Clerke whoe lives
in Virginia Streete and gave him Eight & Twenty
Shillings for Twenty Shillings in Good money, And that
One John Connell< no role > and the said Chawner did Come to this
Informts Father and told him that they was come to
Apprhend this Informt for High Treason for Counterfitting money And [..] said that if he would give
them Forty pounds they wouldmakenot prossecute him
and this Informts. Father did give them Forty pounds, and they
did never prossecute this Informt. for the said Treason & they
reced Forty pounds mone Since they Recd the First forty pounds some of this
Informt. & the Rest of his Father
