Who saith That about A fortnight or three weeks before
the Breaking out of the late Plot, this Informant
accidentally coming into the Company of Martin Goddard< no role >
in Fenchurch sheet
Woollen draper
, at the Ship & Castle
Tavern in Cornhill
, did find with him and Mr.
Shewin & one Mr. Murford, And they were all then
discoursing of the sd Goddards Riding from London to
Bristell
upon one horse in six & twenty house; upon
which Mr. Goddard laid A Wager with Mr. Showin of
Sixty Guineys to twenty Guineys, That he would ride
to Bristoll from house, upon one horse, he said he
then had, in twenty six hours, And in laying the
Sd. Wayer, the Sd. Mr. Goddard Said, he would
barr as Jureasion, upon which words being askt, what
he meant by an Jureasion, he replyed such an
one as Men mouth's was, or Dutch or French.
