And allamodes makes oath, that on or upon sunday 28th, Aprill last being
Both together att the market place in spitlefields Came to them One Called
Laporte & asked the Deponants, Withr they Worked in then Calling for the
Lustring Company to which they Answerd that as yet they had not, Whereupon
The sd. Laporte by Way of Caution and adivise to the deponents told them that
himself & some other French men had a Dispute with the Lusting Compa. of which
The parliament would soon decide And that they had good friends & hoped
the Company would have the worst But if it were otherway is the said
Laporte & his gang would Rise the Moab & would Put down the Companys have
And Warehow & rot Lett one Brike be upon another to which the Deponents
Replyed that they did not worke for the sd. Company & parted one from
another, They further say that the Day folowing which was Munday
29 Aprill Last, the Deponents being att the same place aforesd. att the
sign of the three tongues the same Laporte Came to them In Company
of one Fulgan Consdil< no role > cabinet Dalbia & paitouin And told the Deponents
These words Gentlemen you have taken a false oath before mylord
Major Against some Merchants in Golland & shewed them a [..] Paper
(which the Deponents Beleaves was [..] affidavit made by them) would
you dare Return in Gollard said the sd. Laporte to which th Deponents
Repyed Wee have done Noe ill thing wee Can Return in Golland &
where Elee wee please bare face wee have declared the Truth upon our oath
& shall make it good In the mean while the sd. Laporte shewed himself
Very angry & Inciail to the sd. Lustrong Company & some time after Came
To the Deponents Laporty Wife who told them they should Not doe will
to work for the Lustring Company & Rather Return to Holland
