Saith that on Wednesday ye. Seaventh of this instant Decembr. betweene ye.
houres of Seaven & Eight of ye Clocke in ye Evening this Informt. hearing by a
Boy that two Gents were fighting in ye Temple neare ye Excheqr. Office went
out to see what was ye. matter and saw ye. decd. & another pson unknowne &
heare ye. pson unknowne (who had a whitish grey coloured Coate on) say to ye
decd. (who had the Sword held up above his head doe not drawe for you
will make me draw againe whereupon they both went towards Miter Cort
& ye. Sd. in some Small space fell downe & this Informt suppossing yd. decd.
to be drinke went to helpe him up & found yt. hee was wounded & thereupon
this Informt. seeing ye pson unknowne make away puished him but could
not take him
