This Examinant Sayes That the goods
which were found in her lodgings where the forwith did ledge were
brought to her by on Richard Ellis< no role > , who is
since Executed for the same fact, And that ye
reason why she fled from her lodgings was
because, some body told her that the Constable
was coming to taker, the she knew not for
what, she sayes she knowes nothing of the
Pistolls and two Chissell that were found in
her lodging, nor how they came there, but
she has seene, John Steevens< no role > have one of
the sword and This Arme, butwhichand hee
told her that it was his Fathers, And this
Examt. further sayes that John Steevens< no role > &
Richard Starr< no role > have Lodged in the Roome
where they were taken, for about a weeke
and that on Thomas Bennett< no role > used to vissitt
them. And this Examt sayes that Ellis left the
goods with her, with an intect to take them
with him to Dover, but he did not came
for them as he had promised, nor does this
Examt. know how Ellis, came by the good but
only that he told this her that he bought them
