The Informacon of Thomas Blackford< no role >
taken upon Oath the Nynth day of
August Anno Dom 1692

This Informt. sayth That att Coffins
house in Oate Lane neare Foster Lane , a
Working Gold smith there weare Guineas and
Pistolls made by William Chandler< no role > in the sight of this Informant Thomas
Blackford
< no role > , Mary Hitchcock< no role > and Katherine Coffin< no role >
of Oate Lane aforesaid and that her hath seene
him Clipp money one And this Informt. did
severall tymes receive them of the said Chandler
and Carry'd them to his Brother in the Country
to putt off And that his Brother William
Blackford
< no role > gave Chandler Tenn Shillings a peice
for the Pistolls but knowes not what hee gave
for the Guineas, and that Coffin himselfe Knew
of it, And further sayth that Henry Travis of the
Old Bayly Scrivener often furnished William
Blackford
< no role > with broad money for Narrow, and had
Three Shillings in the pound alowed for the Change
And that the said Travis has severall tymes beene
prsent and seeme the said Wm Blackford Clipp ye
money and carry it away with him And this
Informant hath often tymes received broad money
of the said Travis and delivered him Narrow
money in Exchange for it, And saith further that
the said Chandler came to this Informt. to
Greenewich and told him that if ever hee came
to London: hee should be layd in Chaynes and
frighted him to bee willing to goe on Board a
Privateez, and this Informant did see with intent
to goe to sea: But one Jones owing this Informt.
som money hee came on shoare to the Golden Ball
at Chareing Crosse where Jones did use to come, and
there mett Jones and received the money, And [..]
at that house heard, that his Brother was to dye
And thereupon hee went to his Brother who told
this Informt. that hee must dye, if hee this Informt
did not save his life, thereupon Mr Mary, and Mr
Tucker carried this Informt. before sd Wm Turner< no role >
when hee gave Informacon against Nutter
