Who saith That about Easter last past, John

at the Crown Taverne
without Criplegate

, coming often to the house of Mrs.
Huntsman in three Dagger Court

Criplegate
, where this Informant was then
employed as A Nurse, he thereby became
acquainted with this Informt. & about that
time did begett her with ye Child she
now goes with And saith that no other pson
is father of ye said Child. And this Informt.
further saith That about four or five months since
the said Acton caused this Informt. to be taken
by A warrt. (as she apprhended) to bring her
before A Justice of the Peace in Midlx, Audr
being in custody of A Constable, the sd Mr. Acton
one Mr Wright A Sherrifes office & severall
others being prsent, this Informt. was pressed by
ye sd. Acton to disown her Accu [..] & the sd Acton there gave
her forty shillings to subscribe A Paper then
drawn by ye sd. Wright which this Informt. to
procure her libty at that time was forced to do
And the Upon this Informt. was carryed before
A Justice of ye Peace at Islington, & discharged
without being any way examined touching the
Sd. matter. And this Informt. also Saith that
at another time, the Said Acton told this Informt.
he would give her A price of money, to lay the
Sd. Child to another person.
