, on her Oath says, that on Monday<lb></lb>
Morning last between Eleven and Twelve o Clock, Mrs. Thompson came to<lb></lb>
her, and desired Deponent to go to Mrs. Marsh to enquire<lb></lb>
about her Maid, the Maid herself opened the Door, and Dept.<lb></lb>
asked for Mrs. Marsh, who came to her in the Parlour,<lb></lb>
Deponent said she came to her on an affair that was very<lb></lb>
particular, that the Neighbours had missed her maid for a<lb></lb>
Day, and that when they did see her again, they were<lb></lb>
supprized to see her delivered of her burthen, Deponent<lb></lb>
then asked Mrs. Marsh if her Maid had been brought to Bed<lb></lb>
she said, she had Miscarried, Deponent said she could not<lb></lb>
beleive that, for that she thought she had gone her full<lb></lb>
time, Mrs. Marsh said, she was not, for that she could<lb></lb>
take her Oath she was only about four or five Months gone<lb></lb>
and it was nothing but a Miscarriage. Then Mrs. Marsh<lb></lb>
said, if you will sit down, I will tell you the truth, and<lb></lb>
said her maid went to Bed with the young Woman in the<lb></lb>
first Floor, as her Husband was not at home, on the Thursday<lb></lb>
