<p n="2662">Who being upon Oath says, that about three Weeks ago believes it<lb></lb>
to be Wednesday or Thursday fortnight, about 5 o Clock in the afternoon<lb></lb>
as this Informant was drinking at the three Tuns door in New<lb></lb>

this Informant whether he would go with him to Bristol telling him he<lb></lb>
had a Relation there, that they both set off in a Post Chaise which they<lb></lb>
tired at the White Horse near <rs type="placeName" id="LMOBPS45019_geo1059">Grays Inn Lane</rs>

the Saturday Morning<lb></lb>
following Intending to go to Bristol, that they Stopped at Reading<lb></lb>
there being a Fair there that day, & put up at the George, that this<lb></lb>
Informant went out and purchased two Grey Horses with the said<lb></lb>
hundred pound Bank Note for about twenty five pounds and received<lb></lb>
a £50 Bank Note and the Remainder in Cash, says He Carried the said<lb></lb>
£50 Bank Note to the Bank and received three £10 Bank Notes and<lb></lb>
the remainder in Cash, Says the said Notes were made payable to this<lb></lb>
Informant says he returned the sold Notes and Cash to the said<lb></lb>
