Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before

good and lawful Men of the said County, duly chosen, and who being then and there duly
sworn and charged to inquire, for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by what Means, the
said Ward Gray came to his
Death, do, upon their Oath, say, That The said Ward Gray on the Twenty ninth Day
of November in the year aforesaid being the Driver of a certain Waggon

Waggon which was then passing along the Kings Highway through Shoreditch Turnpike
in the
Parish and County aforesaid It so happened That accidentally casually and by
Misfortune fell from the said

was then and there Jambe between One of the
Shaft of the said Waggon and the Gate Post of the said Turnpike By Means
whereof he the said Ward Gray then and there received divers Mortal Bruises in
and upon the Arms and Body of him the said Ward Gray of which said Mortal

so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid Do say That the said

in Manner and by the Means aforesaid accidentally, casually Misfortune
Came to his Death
