Informations of Witness taken at the Dwelling House
of William Field< no role > the Sign of the Blue Posts
in the parishof Saint Giles in the Fields in the County Middlesex on
Monday the thirdDay of April, 1786 . Before
Edward Umfreville< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Coroners for the said County
touching the Death of Ann Harris< no role > .then and
there lying Dead as follow.

Sarah Wife of Thomas Wright< no role > of The Blue Posts
aforesaid porter upon her oath Saith That She is a
Lodger at the Blue posts aforesaid That. Ann
Harris the Mother of the deceased is also a Lodger
in the same House and on Saturday last about Nine in the Morning the said
Ann Harris< no role > came in to this Deponents room [..]
the deceased her Daughter a Child about Eight
Weeks. old, and desired Deponent to take care
of it white she stepped out Deponent did so and
Deponent observed that the said Ann Harris< no role > was.
rather in Liquor and in about half an hour She
returned to their Deponents room and took the
the deceased from Deponent and as Deponent.
wanted to go out she desired the said Ann Harris< no role >
to go out of the room but she said she would. sit down
a little upon which as Deponents Daughter
Sarah Wright< no role > a Child about Eleven Years old
was in the room she though she might leave
her supposing the said Harris would not stay long
as her Apartment was under this Deponents
