To wit

An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at the parish of July [..] Le Bone
in the County of Middlesex , the eighth Day of August in the 22d. Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of
the Faith, Etc. before Edward Umfreville< no role > one of the Coroners of Our said Lord
the KING, for the said County, on view of the body of Richard Vaner< no role >
then and there lying dead, upon the oath of Samuel Elliott< no role >
Joseph Thompson< no role > , Samuel Andrews< no role > John Bird< no role > , Benjamin Tupley< no role >
Robert Meredith< no role > Thomas Smith< no role > , George Evans< no role > James Ireland< no role > Lewis
Rellier George Go [..] ter Richard Riley< no role > Thomas Bates< no role > Thomas Wellbank< no role >
William Be< no role > [..] Thomas Hone< no role > and John Stephenson< no role >
good and lawful Men of the said County duly chosen as by Law required, and who being then and there duly sworn
and charged to enquire for our said Lord the KING, when, how, and by what means the said Richard Vaner< no role >
came to h is Death, Do upon their Oath say, That The said Richard Vaner< no role >
not being of sound mind Memory and understanding but Lunatic and distracted
on the Sixth Day of August in the Year aforesaid One End of a Cord to the Iron
Rails of The Cellar Stairs in the Workhouse of and in the Parish and in the County
aforesaid And the other End thereof about his Own neck Did fix, tye and fasten
and therewith did then and there hang suffocate and strangle himself of which said
Hanging, Suffocation and Strangling he the said Richard Vaner< no role > then and there died
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid Do say That the said Richard
Vaner not being of sound Mind, Memory and Understanding but Lunatic and
distracted in manner and by the Means aforesaid Did kill himself

In Witness whereof, as well [..] the said Coroner, as the said Samuel Elliott< no role > the Foreman of
the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows, in their presence, have to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day and Year first abovementioned
