London-Deposition of Witness taken at London that is to
say at the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the Ward of
Farringdon without in London aforesaid this 23d day
of May 1799 on view of the body of George Houghton< no role >
now here lying Dead

Charles Gould< no role > a Prisoner for Debt in the Gaol of Newgate maketh Oath that
he hath known the deced George Houghton< no role > about fifteen Months that he was also
a Prisoner in that said Gaol That the deced has been ill and in a declaine the
whole of that time that laterly the deced coughed and spit very mirch
that for there six or eight breeks past the deced has got much wase and
continued to distine daily until Tuesday evening last when he departed
this Life-That he has been attended by the Sungeon of the Gaol during his
illness.
