An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London (that
is to say) at the parish of Saint Bartholomew the less in the Ward of Farringdon without
in London aforesaid on the fourteenth day of May in the thirty ninth year of the reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain and so forth before Thomas Shelton< no role >
Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark
on view of the body of Sarah Peters< no role > now here lying dead by the oath of John Woodward< no role >
Charles Gale< no role > Lewis Cole< no role > William Benson< no role > Thomas Hell< no role > Thomas Blake< no role > Richard
Llewin Thomas Ladd John Williams< no role > George Sheeley< no role > John Bodingham Charles

aforesaid who being now here duly chosen swom and charged to inquire for our said Lord
the King when how and in what manner the said Sarah Peters< no role > came to her death say
upon their oath that the said Sarah Peters< no role > an infant on the twelfth day of May in the year
aforesaid being in a certain two pair of Stairs room in the dwelling house of
situate in New Court in the Old Bailey in the parish of Saint Sepulchre in the Ward aforesaid
[..] in London aforesaid and being near to the window of the said room It so happened
that the said Sarah Peters< no role > accidentally casually and by misfortune fell from and out
of the said Window into the said Court and to upon and against the ground and stone
pavement there by means whereof the said Sarah Peters< no role > did then and there receive
one mortal fracture of the scull of her the said Sarah Peters< no role > of which said mortal fracture
she the said Sarah Peters< no role > did then and there instantly die.And so the Jurors aforesaid
upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said Sarah Peters< no role > in manner and by the means
aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune came to her death and not otherwise
In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said John Woodward< no role > the foreman
of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence
have to this Inquisition set their hands and seals the day year and place frist above
written
