Deposition of a Witness taken at London that
is to say at the parish of Christchurch in the
Ward of Farringdon within in London aforesaid
this 6th. day of January 1798 on view of the
body of George wood< no role > now here lying Dead

Charles Wilson< no role > a Prisoner in His Majestys Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that the deced George wood< no role > also a prisoner in the
said Gaol being taken ill on the 28th. of December last came
to the Silk Ward where Dept. attends in order receive
Medicine being ill with the Fever That on the 30th. of same Month he came into [..]
sick ward [..] Depthis disorder increasing that he
continued in the sick ward ill with the fever and got worse
daily until yesterday Morning about five oClock when
he departed this Life-That he was attended by the Surgeon
of the Gaol during his illness and Deponent has no doubt
the aforesaid disorder occasioned the deceds death
