parish of Saint Botolph without
Bishopsgate in the Ward of Bishopsgate
witht. in London 1st. Novr. 1797 on view
of the body of Eliz Marshall there
lying dead

William Lucas< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of No 51 Threadneedle Street
Surgeon maketh oath that yesterday Dept was called
upon to examine the body of the deced which he accordingly
did Says he first examined the body of the deced externally
& says there appeared no mark of violence upon it except
a discolouration of one of the eyes which was not violent
& appeared to be of some time standg.Dept says he
opened the body of the deced & observed no mark of
violence, but believes from the appearances that her
death was occasioned by appoplexy

Apothecary maketh oath that a saturday morning
last he was called in to see the decedThat he was told
she had been taken with a pitSays she appeared to be
insensible, & from the date of her pulse and other appearances
& symtoms Dept believes her death was occasioned by
Appopexy
