The Voluntary examination of William Special
of the New Cut Lambeth in the County of Surrey Dust-
man who says that last Thursday morning about 7 o'clock
heDeptwas with his Dust Cart in the Borough High Street ,
accompanied by his Servant Francis Freestone< no role > . Says a Young
man who was taking down the Window Shutters of a Shop,
a Hosiers Shop some where opposite Saint Thomas's Hospital
called to them to take Dust away; that Examt.Deptwent into
the Cellar, and it being Dark ExamtDeptasked for a Light, or
which the same Young man< no role > bro't down a light and went
up again. Says they took up several baskets of dust
from a Closet in the Cellar, and, as Examinant was going
up with the last Basket, the same young than sayed to him
Stop, there is some more dust in anor. place; and he
shewed Examinant another place in the Cellar where
there was Shavings and other Rubbish. That on his filling
the third Basket he discovered [..] same thing wrapped
up in a Cloth, which he took up in his hand, & opened
