anything of him, on which she sayed she could sit down. Dept<lb></lb>
told her she should not, & the woman replied she could sit down<lb></lb>
as long as she liked. Dept insisted on her going; that she got up<lb></lb>
& went out on the door, and Dept look up<del>the</del>
a Chair<del>she had</del>
<lb></lb>
<del>been sitting on</del>
and placed it in the door way & leaned on the<lb></lb>
back it; the Woman then pulled Dept. cap off and struck her<lb></lb>
on the head. That presently the decd came home & inquired<lb></lb>
what was the matter, Dept told him. The Woman then took<lb></lb>
the deceds hat and wig off and beat him about the face with<lb></lb>
them, on which the deced layed hold of a Tea Kettle that had<lb></lb>
some dirty water in it & desired her to go along or he would<lb></lb>
throw the water over her, and he did throw some water<lb></lb>
upon her. That the Dept took the Kettle from him; and went<lb></lb>
backwards with it desiring the deced would get a Constable for the<lb></lb>
