Parish of Christ Church in the
Ward of Harringdon without in
London the 15 Febry 1797 on view of
the body of John Parish< no role > there lying
dead

Samuel Warren< no role > of Cow Lane West Smithfield
Butcher maketh oath that a little before eight
o'clock yesterday morning as dept was in the
Oxford Arms passage Warwick lane he heard the
report of a pistolwhich& on depts return up the
[..] passage he saw the decedbysitting against the Wall of
a House where Dept was told the dead lodgeddept
saw much blood about him and on looking observed
his face was much wounded.

Passage Warwick Lane maketh oath that the decd
has lodged at his House about sixteen months.
Says that yesterday evening he heard the report of a
pistol , & on dept. getting up & opening the door a
young man< no role > a hair dresser who knew the deced threw
a pistol into the passage & sayed Parish has shot
himselfSays when he saw the deced he was quitedead.
Says the deced behaviour was very extravagant.that
he treated his Wife very Ill by abusing herDept believed
he was jealous of her, [..]
