Deposition of a Witness taken at London that
is to say at the Parish of Christ church in the
Ward of Farringdon within in London aforesaid
this 5th. day of December 1796 on view of the
Body of Anthony Stuart< no role > now here lying Dead

Clark Hilliard< no role > a Prisoner in Newgate maketh oath that he
hath known the deced Anthony Stewart< no role > about three Months that
he was also a Prisoner in the said GaolThat he was an aged Man
about eighty years of agethat he has been in the Sick Ward where
Deponent attends two Months part that he was taken into the Sick
Ward in order to have nourishing things being very feeble and infirm
from old agethat for these last three days he took to his Bed and
departed this Life on Saturday Evening last about nine o Clock.

1796 before me.}
