Deposition of a Witness taken at London that
is to say at the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the
Ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid
this 3d. day of December 1796 on view of the body
of Ann Smith< no role > now here lying Dead

Elizabeth Dixon< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's Gaol of Newgate maketh
Oath that she hath known the deced Ann Smith< no role > near two years
that she was a Prisoner in the said GaolThat she hath been ill three
Weeks with a Porin in her Head & Bones That she hath been in
the Sick Ward where Depts. attends about a week during which
time she has had a fever on herthat she continued to get
worse daily until yesterday afternoon when she departed
this Life that she was attended by the surgeon of the said
Gaol during her illness
