Information of Witnesses taken at the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
Ward of PortsokenAldgatein London the 7th. Novr.
1795 on view of the body of Geo. Serjeant< no role >
there lying dead

William Gardner< no role > of Meticross Street London Carman
maketh Oath and saith that last Thursday about the
middle of the day he was driving his Masters last down the
Memories, and says a Cart drawn by her horses belonging to
Mr. Wm Prest< no role > of Whites Yard Rosemary Care Middx Carman
was passing on before the Carl Dept was driving Says he saw
the deced who was on the poor pavement in the act of felling, &
he fell from off the Pavement backwards into the Street [..]
before the off Wheel of Mr. Prests Care, and the off wheel immedy
passed over his body. Dept immediately called to the driver of the sd.
Care but the Wheel part over the deceds body before the driver
was coroner of the accident or could slop his Houses. Says the dead
was taken up and died directly.
