An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to say
at the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the Ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid on the
twenty eighth day of August in the thirty fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith
and so forth before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the
City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the body of George Wiggins< no role > now
here lying dead by the oath of Thomas Whitaker< no role > William Atkinson< no role > William Plaskett< no role >
Joseph Bond< no role > John Hunt< no role > John Puckridge< no role > William Wilson< no role > Thomas Frith< no role > Thomas Acton< no role >
James Fuller< no role > William Burt< no role > Henry Madgin Thomas Clark< no role > George Langdon< no role > Issac Ward< no role >
William Morfs< no role > & Robert Read< no role > good and lawful men of the City of London aforesaid who
being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when
how and in what manner the said George Wiggins< no role > came to his death say upon their
oath that the said George Wiggins< no role > on the twenty fifth day of August in the year aforesaid
at the Parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid was sick and diseased in his
body of which said sickness and disease the said George Wiggins< no role > on the said twenty
fifth day of August in the year aforesaid at the Parish and Ward aforesaid in London
aforesaid did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the
said George Wiggins< no role > by the Visitation of God died a natural death and by no violent
means or manner whatsoever. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the
said Thomas Whitaker< no role > the foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the
rest of his fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their hands and
seals the day year and place first above written
